Montgomery County Emergency Service District #3 Employment Requirements
Minimum requirements for employment with the MCESD #3 include, but are not limited to the following:
- Be between 18 and 40 years of age, prior full-time experience may exempt age limit
- High School Diploma or GED
- Be certified through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a Basic Firefighter
- Be certified through the Texas Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT)
- Have or be able to obtain a Social Security Card
- Possess a valid Texas driver's license and have no more than two (2) moving violations within the previous year
- No DWI convictions
- You must be of good moral character with:
- No felony convictions (subject to verification)
- No habitual usage of drugs or alcohol
- No immoral characteristics that may be in any way an embarrassment to MCESD #3
